Reciprocal for Power Overdialing

On the Extended Properties page, when the power dialing method or the Cookbook has been selected, this is one of the options for overdialing (the other being Overdial Rate).

Power dialers often base their dialing on simple formulae related to the reciprocals of categories of call outcomes.

Oceanic® gives you two selections to choose from; from Options on the Menu bar, select Reciprocal options...:

Options are

1. Reciprocal of no answer rate
   The power dialing example from the base folders shows a no answer rate of 35%. The reciprocal of this is 1/0.35 = 2.86. This is the default setting in Oceanic®.
2. Reciprocal of all call outcomes except live calls
   Summing all call outcomes, except live calls from the same example we get 65%, and the reciprocal of this is 1.54.

If you find these options a bit hit and miss, then try Overdial Rate.

This is a local option meaning that the value you select will be stored with your campaign when you save it, and then applied next time you open and run it.
