Wizard Conventions
The following conventions apply when completing the pages in the Wizard:
Data checking
| What Happens | Example |

| Oceanic® does extensive data checking and validation on the data you enter in all enabled cells. If there are errors in your data, Oceanic® will either warn you as you tab away from a cell, or it will do so as you attempt to move to another page. | The call outcome assumptions you enter must add up to 100. |
Variance selection
| What Happens | Example |

| If you enter an average value for any call outcome or event, then if it has an associated variance, the allowable value for the variance will be an integer value between 0 and 40. If you don't enter a value, Oceanic® will assume 0. | All call outcomes have variance cells associated with them. In some cases you may find after a number of runs that assigning a positive variance is statistically insignificant, in which case you need enter no value, and zero will be assumed. However think twice before ever assigning a zero variance to a talk band |
Tabbing
On any page, the tabbing sequence will take you through all enabled cells, starting from the upper left hand corner of the page.
Mouse
The mouse can be used to position the cursor in any enabled cell on a page, and override the tab sequence.
Enable and disable for data cells

| Controls associated with data cells in the Wizard will either be enabled in a yellow color, allowing you to enter data, or they will be disabled, in a light gray color. | As you enter the percentage of live calls for a particular talk band on the Setup and Talk Properties page, the average and wrap cells will be enabled. |
Status cells and cells calculated by Oceanic®

Radio buttons
| What Happens | Example |
|---|---|
| When a selection appears, in all cases the top left-hand one will be lit up. It will be turned off if you select any other button in the group. | See buttons for selecting objective on the Campaign Properties page |
Page consistency
| What Happens | Example |
|---|---|
| In several cases Oceanic® will apply consistency checks across pages, and you will be warned of any inconsistencies. | If your dialing method takes you to the Extended Properties page, you will be given the option to allocate agents to the open preview state. If you haven't previously specified time values for open preview, you'll want to go back and do so. |
